Program Coordinator
The Coordinator will plan and coordinate one or more programs. The Coordinator will also develop program materials, interact with partners and clients and ensures that program achieves stated objectives. This position will also require participation of special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Implements program standard operating procedures that align with TBIWF’s mission and goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Administrative, client interaction and program coordination
· Assist with grants management and technical assistance
· Assist in organizing and coordinating events, meetings, webinars and conference calls
· Participate in meetings with partner organizations, funders and member organizations
· Assist in resource development projects
· Respond to general inquiries about the programmatic work
· Contribute to and enhance TBIWF positive office culture
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree Business, Public Policy, Non-Profit Management, or related field with experience in working with military/veterans and/or non-profit organizations.
Experience
Ability to understand and interpret community development and funding concepts
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs (Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel)
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working with community organizations
Non-profit sector experience
Military/Veteran cultural competency
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Proficiency with computer software programs, including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Multi-task and meet deadlines
Promote TBIWF’s positive office culture
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Ability to work independently
