Rocío Norman, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Dr. Rocío S. Norman is Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorder at the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Her previous work as a speech-language pathologist in the VA System of Care greatly informs her teaching and research approaches. Her research centers on outcomes related to individuals with persistent symptoms after mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). She primarily uses experimental methods to investigate the cognitive-communication disorders after mTBI.
