Erika D’La Rotta, U.S. Army Veteran
& Military Spouse

Erika D’La Rotta is an Army Veteran and the spouse of Major Nicholas D’La Rotta.  She served in the US Army as a Captain in the Transportation Corps.  While deployed to the theater of Iraq, Erika served as the Distribution Platoon Leader.  She led numerous combat replenishments and mounted combat patrols with 100% success rate, even during enemy contact and engagement. Erika and Victor (President of TBI Warrior® Foundation) served together while in Iraq.

From a young age, Erika had a strong desire to serve both her country and her local community.  Her service did not stop after her departure from the Army.  She possesses over a decade of experience in assisting with Family Readiness and family resiliency by providing tools and resources to assist families with adjusting to stateside and overseas reassignments, training and combat deployments, as well as separations from the military. She volunteered as the Family Readiness Group Leader for multiple units and was also employed as a Family Readiness Support Assistant.  Following numerous relocations, both as a military service member and now as a military spouse, Erika understands the importance of fostering relationships between military units, family members, friends, and the community. Currently, as a Master Gardener Community Gardener Specialist, Erika enjoys helping teachers and students develop community garden programs in their schools. She is also pursuing her Dive Buddy certification to support disabled veterans to engage in a challenging hobby that they would be unable to accomplish alone.
